Perfect, you say?

Between the spectacularly dull new 3-series, the bloated and pretentious new X5, and the utterly inexplicable iNext Concept, I can say with certainty I won’t be troubling a BMW showroom any time soon. Turkeys one and all.
Be honest. If the new 3-series was a Toyota/Mitsubishi/Honda you’d give it three stars at best and opine it being a backward step, safe, that kind of thing. But you’ll give it five stars and call it the class leader. I have no doubt they’ll sell ’em as fast as they can make ’em, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t a company trading on its past and its badge.
And that won’t sustain them forever. Thank goodness.

We say what we find Tom, always. And the new 3-series prototype we drove was impressive. If the final car’s lacking, we’ll say so. BM
