Pedestrian power

All this talk of autonomous cars makes me wonder if the whole thing is just a means of stopping any of us going anywhere. Once all new vehicles have autonomous braking I can foresee pedestrians wandering at will, safe in the knowledge that the approaching vehicle will stop in time to prevent an ‘accident’. In an urban environment a few like-minded people could disrupt traffic to the point where it all just stops.

I just read a couple of your reviews of electric cars. It’s a pity you folks cannot move into the 20th century and just give kW for power and torque in Nm. I know the UK uses miles per hour – what a pain, makes you seem backward compared to the rest of the world… Thank God I live in France! But seriously if you want to compete in this world, you’re going to have to use world units, aka metric or SI.
