Quick, but Italians do it better

The engine growls and roars, and it certainly delivers amazing performance – both high-speed punch and low-speed docility. Plus it revs mightily beyond 8000rpm. But the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 still doesn’t have quite the soul of the best Ferrari or Lamborghini engines.
