The Black Series engine is considerably stronger than the next most potent V8 in AMG’s line-up. The new crank plays a part in this, but isn’t the sole reason.

MONEY NO OBJECT

Just as the Black Series GT’s huge price makes possible the extensive use of ferociously expensive carbonfibre, the re-engineering of the engine doesn’t come cheap either. Worth it, though.
