As pretty as a picture

Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Your Letters -

The moment I saw the fabulous accordion book card project in issue 180, I just had to try it. I had a Hunkydory butterfly set that I had wanted to use for a while, but it was so pretty I felt it deserved more than the usual folds, so this idea was perfect. The measurements needed some adjustment to carry the frame but it didn’t prove quite as difficult as it looked. With a craft knife, I carefully cut around parts of the butterflies so that they stood out from the background. As usual with Hunkydory sets, I didn’t need to add lots of embellishments as the artwork is so beautiful. I hope you like the final creation. Lyn Davies, via email

Sarah says: The accordion book card project was so pretty and you’ve really done it justice. I love the springtime theme you’ve chosen, with beautiful butterflies and flowers. You were right to save this Hunkydory set for something special, too. Well done, Lyn!

This Hunkydory set was the perfect match, accordion to Lyn!
