My sister lives in Australia and I’d like to send her a Christmas card with a summery feel – help!

Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Crafter’s Q&a - Paula Lovelock, Frome

Dorothy says: There are lots of ideas for a tropical Christmas such as Santa in Hawaiian shorts or on a well-deserved holiday. I love to build snowmen and with so many Australians heading for the beach to celebrate, I imagine they might build a snowman from sand instead! I sketched out this fun image and you can print out the digi stamp at cardmakingandpapercraft.com. I printed it with a laser printer and coloured with watercolour pencils, so try out colouring mediums so the ink doesn’t run or dissolve. The design is easy to cut out and can be backed with patterned papers. I chose reds and greens, colouring the image to match, and couldn’t resist a play on words to add a bit of humour with a ‘traditional’ greeting!

A perfect card for Down Under!
