How to make the card

Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Sara’s Diary -

Cut a piece of white card to 155x290mm. Score and fold lines at 75mm and again at 220mm to create a gatefold card.

Layer a piece of patterned paper onto 140x140mm of Kraft card and add this panel to the inside of your card.

Cut two pieces of Kraft card to 70x150mm and add slightly smaller pieces of patterned paper on top. Wrap a piece of ribbon around the lengths of each panel. Die-cut the Sew Lovely Seamstress dies from a piece of Kraft card. Ink the edges of the die-cut shapes with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then highlight with Empire Gold Gilding Wax to create an antique shimmer.

Cut a 100x100mm piece of Kraft card. Cut a slightly smaller piece of white card and emboss in the Sew Lovely Sashiko folder. Ink the edges for a vintage look and layer onto the Kraft card. Stamp and cut out the ‘Hand made’ stamp and layer onto a scalloped circle die-cut from a piece of Kraft card.

Assemble your card, using sticky fixers for the die-cut elements. Add gems and a ribbon bow to finish.
