How to make this snowy scene box frame
To make sure that you don’t accidentally stick your concertina sections together, apply glue to the back of each layer rather than the folded panels on either side of the frame.
If you prefer to use double-sided tape to add the layers, run a glue stick along the tape before attaching. This will give you more time to get the placement of the layer correct before the adhesive is permanent.
Use a heavyweight card (I used 300gsm) to ensure that the delicate die-cut pieces are strong enough to remain straight and sturdy when suspended in the frame.
When creating your layers from the same colour of card, dab on some touches of glitter or ink to define the edges and add a bit of sparkle.
Use a dark coloured card for the background to create a more dramatic effect and ensure that the die-cut layers really stand out.
