How to make the card

Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Sara’s Diary -

1 Die-cut the largest Storybook page die from matt gold card. Die-cut the middle-sized book page die from dark green card and mount on top of the die-cut gold card with foam tape.

2 Die-cut the smallest book page die from rose-patterned card, positioning it so that the rose appears in the bottom-left of the page. Score a central line down the middle and slightly bend the pages. Ink the edges with Pink Tulip Harmony ink, then adhere the page on top of the green and gold pages with silicone glue gel, which will hold the curved pages in place. 3 Die-cut the ‘Thank You’ sentiment from gold mirror card and the frame from dark green card. Layer the two die-cuts together and adhere to the centre of the book with silicone glue gel.

4 Die-cut the stand and the bookmark frame from dark-green card. Cut the smaller bookmark panel from patterned card. Ink the edges with Harmony ink and glue together.

5 Die-cut four fleur-de-lys symbols from gold mirror card and add to the corners of the book pages. Die-cut the key from gold mirror card and layer onto the bookmark. Add dots of glitter glue to add some sparkle to the floral patterns. 6 Add ribbon and pearls to finish, then display your storybook card on the die-cut stand.
