ADAM WHITEHOUSE I am proud to have worked for Hywel Dda learning disabilities service and provided with colleagues a high standard of care for many service users. Sometimes under very challenging circumstances where some health staff would refuse to work. Heddwyn was a lovely man. Rest in peace. ROSEMARY ONSTWEDDER Condolences to family and friends. How tragic and a huge failure of authorities. SUZANNE WAREHAM Awful.

POLICE have helped rescue a man who was threatening to jump from a bridge in Carmarthen. The incident happened on Thursday night on King Morgan Bridge near the town centre. You said:

Turning to social media, Jeanette Hall, of Carmarthen, was amazed at the response from the community – and further afield – in helping to find her. Here’s what you thought: CHRISTINE JOHNS So glad to hear that she is safe and well!
