Hat-trick man Evans on song as Pyle down Uplands

PYLE’S winning run in Three West Central A continued with a 30-22 win at Swansea Uplands.

A Ray Evans hat-trick led the Pigs to victory while Nathaniel James helped them pick up a bonus point.

The rest of the points came from the boot of Will Gallivant.

Defending seemed optional throughout the league as the points flowed. Neath Athletic ran in 14 tries in their 86-5 win over Glais.

James Williams and Morgan Rogers both bagged trebles, while Nathan Murphy and Connor Reardon claimed braces.

Callum Bowen, Dafydd Millard, Owen Kennerley and Rhodri Griffiths added further tries, with Arin Gulsen kicking eight conversion­s.

Gareth Bennett notched Glais’s consolatio­n try.

Braces from Callum Roach, Daniel Llewellyn, Richard Brunton and Jack Sterio handed Vardre a 76-11 success over Cwmgors. Luke Curtis, Liam Thomas and Ben Williams-Jones were also on the scoresheet, with Shane Davies adding the rest. Bryncoch smashed Penlan 74-10. Conan Doyle led the way with a hat-trick and was followed over by Dafydd Doyle (2), Josh Gillard, Liam Douglas, Jay Philips, Richard McNeil, Scott Ireland, Scott Radford and Craig Thomas. Ireland wrapped things up from the tee.

There was less scoring at Aberavon Green Stars but they still managed to beat Abercrave 30-8. Connor Condon, Sean Curran, Sion Eley and Richard Evans got the tries, while Carwyn Humphries kicked the rest.

Cellan Edwards hit back for Abercrave, who saw Connor Hughes kick a penalty.
