WE PUT CLAY FACE MASKS ON TRIAL
WHICH mask is muddy brilliant when it comes to purifying pores and smoothing skin?
Murad Blemish Control Clarifying Mask £38, Debenhams
This promises to draw out impurities and minimise breakouts and boy was I broken out when I started using it. And it really delivers. After a few days of use my hormonal spots had really calmed down. Wouldn’t recommend for regular use though if your skin is clear. ★★★★ ★
Talika Masque A L’Argile Rose Pink Clay Sheet Mask £12, beautybay.com
Less mess than a traditional charcoal mask in a jar or tube, this is convenient for days when your skin feels congested, and your pores need a good clear out, but you want little faff. Left my skin feeling smooth, and brighter looking.
★★★★ ★
Sanctuary Spa Diamond Dust Refining Scrub Mask £12, Boots
Using purifying French rose clay this promises to give skin and pores an intensive clean. It goes on in a thin layer, which you leave on for up to 15 minutes, then rinse off. It is not harsh at all and left my skin feeling squeaky clean and looking brighter. ★★★★ ★
Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask, £38, charlottetilbury.com
Who wouldn’t want goddess skin? Not sure I entirely got that but this stuff works absolute wonders on tired skin and helped reduce blemishes too. Win, win. It is not cheap but a little goes a long way and skin is genuinely soft and glowing in a matter of minutes. ★★★★★
