PENGELLI United and Evans & Williams fought out a 1-1 draw in one of two games played in the Premier division of the LTC Mobility Carmarthenshire League.

Lee Watkins scored for Pengelli to give them the lead in the 70th minute. But Rory Thomas rescued a point for Evans & Williams with an equaliser in the 88th minute. The ball came back to his feet when a shot from Ben Williams was half-saved by the keeper.

In division one, Llandeilo Town let slip a 3-1 lead when crashing 5-3 at Caerbryn. Striker Liam Jeffreys was the star of the show with four goals for Caerbryn, and there was one for Lloyd Bevan.

Division two high-flyers Drefach turned a 4-1 half-time lead into a comfortable 8-1 win in the away game against KRUF.

Hedd Tudur and Chris Amos led the charge with a couple of goals each.

The remaining goals for Drefach were scored by Eirwyn Owens, Jake Thomas, Tom Butler and John Price.

But goals from Lukas Jusko, Robert Maynard, Zak Hartley and Jamie Rees failed to rescue Gwendraeth Valley rivals Carway, who lost 7-4 at home to Hendy.

Llangennech beat visiting Carmarthen United 4-1, with all the goals scored in the first 45 minutes.

David Lewis netted twice for Llangennech, one of them a spectacular overhead kick — see the front cover of this supplement — while also on target were Dan Evans and Dan Price.

There is no change at the top of the table in reserve division one, with leaders Evans & Williams making it six out of six when defeating visiting Pengelli United Reserves 4-2.

There was a hat-trick for Dan Powell, plus a goal from Robbie Dee.

Still sitting in second place, five points behind the leaders, are Loughor Rovers Reserves who made ground advantage count in the 4-1 win against Pontarddulais Town Reserves.

The home team secured the points with goals from Rhys Beck, Ryan Howells, Jack Thomas and Aaron Nulty.

Striker Dai Thomas capped an outstanding performance by netting all the goals for Trallwm in their 4-2 win at home to Loughor Rovers A in reserve division two. Dan Stevens replied with both goals for the visitors.

In reserve division 3B, Osian Evans scored both goals, one in each half, for Drefach in the 2-2 draw at home to Johnstown Reserves.

On Saturday, there is a big game in the Premier division involving leaders Trostre Sports and defending champions Bwlch Rangers.
