Boy hit by car in town centre
A BOY was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in the centre of Carmarthen.
The incident happened at around 6.40pm on Thursday in Morfa Lane.
It is the understood that the boy, who is around eight years of age, was crossing the road near the entrance to Carmarthen Park at the time. The road was closed in both directions as police and ambulance crews attended the scene.
The boy was taken to Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening or life-altering. The road re-opened at around 8.30pm.
