RESCUE teams scoured woodland outside Carmarthen yesterday as the search for missing Gary Shepherd-Mason was stepped up.
Police officers and dogs were joined in the Trevaughan area by the Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team.
A drone from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service was also used in the search.
Officers yesterday revealed medication belonging to Mr Shepherd-Mason was found near his Russell Terrace home, while his phone and bank card were found in his home. The 54-year-old was last seen in Barn Road on the afternoon of Friday, November 16.

Mr Shepherd-Mason is 6ft 1in, of skinny build, with brown hair which he wears in a ponytail.
