AGM Cwmffrwd WI held their AGM on November 13. The outgoing president, Shirley, congratulated members on their hard-working and very successful year and the treasurer reported that the Institute’s finances were healthy. After appointing the new officers, president Pam John, secretary Janet and treasurer Margaret, the members went on to discuss the programme for 2019. A variety of speakers and events have been organised to help celebrate the Institute’s 70th birthday. The remainder of the evening was spent planning the Christmas party in December.
