Cymdeithas Cwmdu The monthly meeting will be on Thursday, December 12, at 7.30pm in the Cwmdu Inn. Everyone is invited to attend, to discuss the success or otherwise of past events, to offer ideas for future social events and any other aspects of life in the community, the shop, pub and restaurant throughout the year. Everyone is invited to attend. Please note the earlier time as this meeting will be followed by a directors’ meeting.

Folk night A free night of music in the Cwmdu Inn from 8pm on Friday. Come and join in the open session or just listen. Community restaurant Restaurant and bar meals will be available in the Cwmdu Inn on Saturday from 7pm to 9.30pm. Community Christmas dinner The Cwmdu village Christmas dinner, cooked this year by Melanie, will be on Saturday, December 15, in the Cwmdu Inn. There is a set menu for £20 with vegetarian choices. Places are limited so booking is essential. Please book through the shop/ pub with advance payment. Don’t forget to bring a little wrapped present (value approx £1) for the Secret Santa. Lottery The winner of the Cymdeithas Cwmdu Lottery on November 24 was Linda Tame of Talley with number 10.
