Trio’s talks to be an inspiratio­n

ON three Friday lunchtimes in January, Growing the Future at the National Botanic Garden of Wales is hosting a series of talks starring inspiratio­nal women in horticultu­re.

This Friday, Miranda Janatka will give a talk entitled From Kew Gardens to Gardeners’ World – My Life in Horticultu­re, where she will discuss her career path from training and working at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew to her current role as a writer and researcher for BBC Gardeners’ World magazine.

On Friday, January 18, award-winning garden designer Sarah Price will give a talk entitled Plants First.

The curator of Treborth Botanic Garden, Natalie Chivers, completes the trio of inspiratio­nal women in horticultu­re on Friday, January 25, with a talk entitled Treborth Botanic Garden – Small Garden, Big Plans. Talks start at noon in the garden’s Principali­ty House.
