Man dies in M4 collision
A MAN has died after a four-vehicle crash on the M4.
Several people were taken to hospital following the incident on Monday, which happened between junction 48 (Hendy/Llanelli) to junction 49 (Pont Abraham roundabout) at around 4.30pm.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the man, who was a passenger in a white Peugeot Panther van, later died in hospital.
A spokesman for the force said: “DyfedPowys Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 4.30pm on Monday, January 7, on the westbound carriageway of the M4 approximately 200-300 yards from Pont Abraham roundabout.” ■ Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
