Big winners on business’ big night out

THE West Wales Business Awards saw the top businesses in the West Wales region come together at the Stradey Park Hotel and Spa, with the Owens Group a double winner as it picked up the award for services as well as overall business.

The black tie event was hosted by TV presenter Fran Donovan at the fourstar Llanelli hotel.

The event sponsor was University of Wales Trinity Saint David, with business lecturer Jessica Shore joining Swansea Evening Post, Carmarthen Journal and the Llanelli Star editor Jonathan Roberts, and Nigel Williams, Castell Howell finance director, which was last year’s overall Business of the Year, on the judging panel.
