Guide Dogs Cymru tea party events

-

GUIDE Dogs Cymru is holding a series of tea party events starting in Cardigan and Lampeter on Saturday.

It’s a chance to find out how the charity makes a real difference to people like Louise Jenkins, of Llandysul, owner of guide dog Trinity.

She said: “When I lost my sight 15 years ago, my world turned upside down. Suddenly I couldn’t do anything on my own and I felt helpless. Getting a guide dog changed my life.”

Visitors will also meet Rip and Korky, two German shepherds who didn’t quite make the grade as guide dogs but still have an important role with the charity in Ceredigion.

Events take place in the Gogerddan Arms, Tanygroes, Cardigan at 11am and Ty Glyn, Ciliau Aeron, Lampeter at 3pm.
