THE One West title race is firmly in Felinfoel’s control as they took advantage of Gowerton’s 38-3 defeat to Whitland to move 15 points clear with a 43-3 success over Kidwelly.

A Josh Hamer penalty was all Gowerton could muster as Kidwelly triumphed thanks to tries from Danny Evans, Liam Price, Josh Thomas, Sean Coles and two from Nico Setaro, who also kicked four conversions.

Felinfoel also have a game in hand while third-placed Llangennech had their trip to Gorseinon postponed.

Carwyn Rees and Nicholas Bevan both scored twice for Crymych in a 41-14 win over Yr Hendy. Aled Harris and Rhodri George were their other scorers, with Ilan Phillips kicking four conversions and a penalty.

The Tenby try-scorers were Moritz Neumann and Yannic Parker, with Lloyd Thomas converting both and kicking a penalty.

In Two West, Kristian Corbisiero’s try and a penalty from Thomas Howell were not enough for leaders Penclawdd, who lost 25-8 at Pembroke.

That allowed Pontyberem, who also have a game in hand, to cut the gap to three points as they won 34-3 at St Clears.

Pontarddulais beat Fishguard 31-24, while the scheduled games at Mumbles, against Loughor, and Tumble, against Burry Port, were postponed.

And in Three West B, Nantgaredig made it 11 wins from 11 as they thumped Llandybie 53-12.

Amman United, 41-5 home winners over New Dock Stars, are five points off the pace in second place but have played a game more.

Llangadog beat Cefneithin 3220, while a Rob Evans try, along with five points from the boot of Adrian Thomas, was not enough for Betws as they lost 20-10 at home against Bynea.
