Dog obedience training Today in the village hall from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4pm and on Monday from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 7pm to 9pm. Call Kathleen on 01558 685858.

Coffee morning On Friday from 10am in the village hall. £1 admission covers tea and cakes, etc. Run by the Senior Citizens, everyone welcome. Bingo optional around 11am, £1 per game. All receipts returned as prizes. Come along or phone Bill on 01558 685696.

Knitting group The Monday group has stopped for the time being owing to ill health on the part of the organiser. Apologies.

Cylch Meithrin Llansawel Every weekday from 8.45am to 12.45pm in the customised portable building in the Village Hall grounds. Tuition and fun in Welsh for two to three-year-olds. Community Restaurant Restaurant and bar meals will be available in the Cwmdu Inn on Saturday from 7pm to 9.30pm.
