Thefts alert to delivery drivers
POLICE have issued a warning to delivery drivers after a series of thefts and attempted robberies.
Dyfed-powys Police are investigating two incidents of people working on deliveries in West Wales.
The most recent took place at 1.45pm on Wednesday, December 16, when a courier using a silver Vauxhall Zafira stopped to deliver a parcel in Heol Llanelli, Pontyates, Carmarthenshire.
When he returned to the car, which contained a number of parcels, it was gone.
The incident was just days after an attempted robbery of a delivery driver, who had stopped in a lay-by on the A487 between Plwmp and Synod Inn in Ceredigion at around 10.50am on Tuesday, December 8.
