-

GLAZING company Nolan UPVC has become a premier sponsor for Welsh darts player Jonny Clayton.

Based in Johnstown, Carmarthen, and North Road, Cardiff, Nolan UPVC will had their logo displayed on Jonny’s match shirts for the PDC World Darts Championship and for the foreseeable future.

Jonny, from Pontyberem, Carmarthenshire, donated an official shirt that will be on display at Nolan UPVC HQ in Johnstown.

The 46-year-old recently became one half of the World Champions alongside fellow Welshman Gerwyn Price at the PDC World Cup of Darts.

When he is away from the dart board, Jonny – ranked 16 in the world – spends his time plastering new and renovated homes and schools for Carmarthenshire Council, which congratulated him on his championship victory last month.

Jonny said: “I am delighted to bring Nolan UPVC on board as a sponsor.”

“I am very lucky to have many brilliant sponsors supporting me and adding a local, well-known company like Nolan to that is a great feeling.”

Adrian Phillips, sales director at Nolan, said: “We are extremely proud to be one of Jonny’s sponsors.

“Many at the company have known Jonny for a number of years and have watched his ascent to the top of the darts world.

“He always does his country and local community proud so when this opportunity presented itself, we were happy to show our support.

“All of us at Nolan are wishing Jonny the best of luck in his upcoming tournaments.”
