Traffic concerns at school At their December gathering community councillors yet again expressed the concern of Bancffosfelen parents at the lack of 20mph limits on both roads outside the primary school and lack of a crash barrier for the new entrance on the main road. County councillor Liam Bowen said he was waiting for speed recording results for January though he agreed it was Carmarthenshire policy that every school should have 20mph speed limits. The apparently increased volumes of quarry lorries at this junction also attracted comment.

Chemist times Monday to Friday trading hours of the local pharmacy are 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5.30pm. Inside the store the maximum of two customers at any one time.
