HIGHLYRATED young centre Osian Knott could be on the move this summer.

The Ospreys are reportedly on the trail of the hard-running Knott, which could lead to a tug-of-war between the Liberty Stadium region and the Scarlets.

The Carmarthen product is earmarked for a bright future and impressed with Wales U20s last season.

That has alerted the Ospreys, and a report in

The Rugby Paper suggests head coach Toby

Booth wants to add him to his ranks next season.

The Scarlets are unlikely to want to see Knott depart. They have depth in midfield with the likes of Wales caps Jonathan Davies and Johnny Williams, plus Steff Hughes and Paul Asquith, but Knott remains a player of huge potential whose best days are undoubtedly ahead of him.

Knott is not the only Scarlets youngster linked with a move over the Loughor Bridge, with back-rower Jac Morgan also said to be attracting interest from the Ospreys. Meanwhile, Cardiff Arms Park remains Rhys Priestland’s likely home next season. The Bath fly-half (circled, left) looks poised to move back to Wales, with Cardiff Blues leading the race for his signature.
