STAR WARS ADVENTURES: SMUGGLERS RUN #1

THERE’S a nostalgic joyride in store for

Star Wars fans this week, as Chewie and Han set off on a new adventure.

Smuggler’s Run is set after the Battle of Yarvin, which took place in Star Wars IV: A New Hope, ending with the destruction of the first Death Star.

Intending to use their reward to settle their debts, Han and Chewie’s plans are waylaid when Princess Leia asks them to accept a secret mission.

Based on a book by author Greg Rucka, it’s been adapted by Alec Worley, with gorgeous artwork by Ingo Romling.

Star Wars Adventures: Smugglers Run #1 is out now priced £5.99.

BOND PUSHED BACK AGAIN

FIRST the organisers of Glastonbury called this year’s festival off, now film studios, twitchy about the ongoing pandemic, are starting to delay the release of their movies again.

Daniel Craig’s, above, last Bond outing, No Time to Die, has been moved for a third time, from an April 2021 release, to October 8.

Universal is also delaying the release of Edgar Wright’s, Last Night in Soho, to October 22.

Sony revealed its three big releases for early 2021 have been rescheduled. Its live-action Cinderella musical moves from February to July, and Peter Rabbit 2 to June 11. Ghostbusters: Afterlife will hopefully hit the big screen on November 11.

CAPTAIN AMERICA BY ED BRUBAKER: OMNIBUS VOLUME 1

WHILE rumours circulate that Chris Evans is in talks to reprise his role as an ‘alternative’ Captain America, the beginning of a special new collection hits stores.

Ed Brubaker’s legendary take on the life and death of Cap is being released in hardback, and this first volume gathers issues #1 to #25, the 65th Anniversary Special, and Winter Soldier: Winter Kills.

Captain America By Ed Brubaker: Omnibus Volume 1 is out now priced £83.50.
