43 Brandyway, Pontyberem. 01269 871955 keithevans806@btinternet.com Recycle problems Since Carmarthenshire Council recently removed the glass recycling unit at Bancffosfelen School local councillors and governors have made representations to restore the facility as people have left glass objects, day and night, by the school. It was stated at the latest community council meeting that when the school caretaker asked a person not to leave glass items on the yard and take them to the Pontyberem Park facility he received insulting verbal abuse. Latterly the county council has put up a notice saying that glass recycling no longer takes place at the school site. Many hope Carmarthenshire Council will reconsider the withdrawal which was opposed locally when first made known last year. Chemist times Monday to Friday trading hours of the local pharmacy are 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5.30pm. Inside the store there is a maximum of two customers at any one time.
