25 Cwmamman Road, Ammanford. byronevans1@hotmail.com Bereavements His many friends were sad to hear news of the passing away of local gent Elfryn Williams, of Neuadd Road, Gwaun cae Gurwen. Elfryn died

peacefully at Singleton Hospital on March 31. Our thoughts and sympathies are with his wife Lynda on her deep loss; Elfryn was also a much-loved father of Paul and Manon, respected father-in-law of Charlotte and Graham and a devoted and proud dadcu of Evin and Anwen, also a dear brother of Glenys and the late Joe. The funeral took place on April 20 at Llanelli Crematorium.

Our deepest condolences are also expressed to all the family following the passing of Tai’rgwaith lady Eirwen Rose Caines. Eirwen, of Morriston Place, died peacefully at her home on March 9; she was the widow of the late Frank Caines, and was also a much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Eirwen’s funeral took place locally at Hen Garmel cemetery, Gwaun cae Gurwen, on April 16.
