We need your help in knitting or crocheting brightly-coloured long scarf lengths with a width of 7 inches/17 centimetre­s with the length as long as you like. Also, if you can create 3D objects in wool, poppies, or seaside-type knits, we would love to hear from you. Contact Sharron on 07793 890589. We are supported by Burry Port and Pembrey Town Council.

Burry Port Bowls Club As organised outdoor activities for up to 30 people can now take place, the bowls club is able to open the green for practice and training. A full fixture list has been provided by the Llanelli & District bowling League, also the Dinefwr League and Carruthers Shield. All games for 2021 will comply with the Covid restrictio­ns that will be in place. All old and new members are invited to join the club, so please come along and join us on Monday at 2pm. Recycle your garden pots Drop them in the collection tub in the Memorial Hall car park provided by the town council. They will re-use them to provide flowers for the community or if you need some then help yourself.
