LOIS KEANEY Why can’t people just pour some sea water on it? Put it out before you walk away, the heat attracts sea lice too, and they cook in it, among other wildlife. It’s not hard, fill a bottle with water and chuck it on the fire!

LUCINDA-MARIE JOYNER We were on the beach last Sunday and noticed smoke coming from the rocks. Went to check and within minutes there were flames. The kids had been playing up there 10 minutes earlier. We got some water and put it out, thankfully nobody was hurt! JAN HARBOUR These barbecues should be banned.
