Two people airlifted to hospital
TWO people were airlifted to a Cardiff hospital with serious injuries after a van crashed into a tree in West Wales.
The collision, involving a white Renault Trafic van, happened on the A487 near Synod Inn in Ceredigion around 5.30pm on Monday.
Police officers, firefighters, paramedics and crews from Wales Air Ambulance
and the coastguard all attended the scene.
One occupant was thrown from the van and another was trapped inside and had to be cut free.
