Cefn Sidan U3A Some meetings have now started in the main Memorial Hall, not the Pensioners Hall, so that social distancing can be observed. Masks should be worn where possible. Wednesday at 10.45am is the coffee morning. Please bring your own cup to the coffee morning and try to sit only four at a table to keep distances. Tuesday, June 15, the Welsh history group does not start until July. Tuesday, June 15, the Short Walk group is walking at Delta Lakes. Friday, June 18, the cycle group meet at 10.30am at the Blue Mussels at the harbour. Monday, June 21, is the Yoga group at 10.30am with Richard Rees at £3 each. Monday, June 21, at 2.15pm is the main monthly meeting with a talk on Incredible Edibles. Wednesday, June 23, at 9am the long walk group is going to Laugharne. Thursday, June 24, the luncheon club are going to Pembrey Country Inn at 1pm. Monday, June 28, the Drama group meet at 2.15pm.there is Welsh conversati­on every Friday afternoon at 2pm. Food Forward Food Boxes Collaborat­ing with Fairshare and Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council, Food Forward Burry Port is a Lotteryfun­ded project which will support residents in your area. Balls of fun This latest project by the community is to yarn bomb Pembrey and Burry Port in various locations. We need your help in knitting or crocheting brightly-coloured long scarf lengths with a width of 7 inches/17 centimetre­s with the length as long as you like. Recycle your garden pots Drop them in the collection tub in the Memorial Hall car park provided by the town council.they will re-use them to provide flowers for the community or if you need some then help yourself.
