Tumble Twirlers Dynamic Twirlstars / Tumble Twirlers (teaching baton twirling) will be returning to indoor training in Tumble Hall this month. Numbers are limited so places must be booked; this can be done through the Facebook page. Tumble Colts Juniors provides a safe and fun environment for all children of all abilities, boys and girls, to enjoy playing football. Teams run from Under 7 to Under 11.
Tumble Hall Following the latest Welsh Government regulations, Tumble Hall will open from June 21 for the following: Wednesday: ‘Tuned Up’ fitness; Thursday: Tumble Twirlers; foot clinic (every month); Meals on Wheels twice weekly; takeaway Sunday carvery continues twice monthly. Community council clerk retires Mr David Davies has left the council after many years as clerk. At the AGM, he was thanked for the service he has given. Earlier, Mrs D Jones had presented him with a commemorative tankard. Mrs Clare Hope is to be temporary clerk.
Llannon Community Council serves Cross Hands, Llannon, Tumble and Cwm-mawr, promoting community development and facilities. Normally, members of the public can attend council meetings held on the third Wednesday of the month but these are being held via the internet (Zoom) for the time being. Litter pick The environmental group Cadw’r Mynydd Mawr yn Daclus will be litter picking in Llannon on Saturday, June 26 from 10am. If you can spare an hour or so, please join us! As usual, helpers are asked to wear suitable clothes, strong shoes and gloves and, if possible hi-vis! The group will keep to Welsh Government pandemic regulations such as social distancing.
