Aldi has just launched a new range of summer beauty buys at a fraction of the price of some top-end favourites. Fans of pricey skincare brand Glossier will find a lot to love about the Lacura Super Booster (£3.29). Choose from Collagen and Gold to help plump the skin and blur fine lines, Vitamin C to aid the skin’s natural regeneration process and brighten complexions, or Hyaluronic Acid to boost hydration.
Who doesn’t dream of having smaller, tighter, better pores? Ole Henriksen’s new Cold Plunge Pore Remedy Moisturizer, £36, has a snow slush texture inspired by the chilly bit of the Scandi spa cycle and is designed to refresh skin, tighten pores and leave it glowing. It’s particularly handy if you have oily or combination skin because it promises to leave skin hydrated but not shiny.
The original fragrance in Sol de Janeiro’s range, Cheirosa ’62, is as iconic as its Bum Bum Cream. Now the Brazilian-inspired brand is shaking things up with the introduction of a fresh new olfactory offering. Inspired by carnival, Cheirosa ’40 is a fruity, sultry blend of plum, crème de cassis, jasmine and woody notes – the perfect feel-good summer scent. Find it in the Hair & Body Fragrance Mist, £32, and the Bom Dia Bright Cream, £44, both available from Cult Beauty.
A good cleansing balm should make removing make-up a joy rather than a chore. Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm, £13.75 – a US brand that’s just launched in Boots – whisks even the most stubborn eye make-up off in a flash and a splash.
