Date change Due to a clash of dates our Mock Mayor Roger Davies has announced a change in the date for the Mayor’s Mystery Tour originally planned for September 4. This will now be held on Saturday, September 18. Further details to follow. Llansteffan heritage walks Rhys Emlyn has planned what promises to be a fascinating exploration of the old inns and public houses in Llansteffan. It will be a truly historic pub crawl. To be held on Saturday, July 10 with walking tours leaving the Village Store at 2pm and again at 5pm. The cost is £5 per person and it is probably best to contact Rhys to book your place as this event is attracting a lot of attention. Contact Rhys is on 07757 679195.

Llansteffan and Llanybri Community Council An opportunity has arisen for a member of the public to be co-opted onto the Community Council representing the Llanybri Ward. Full details of the responsibilities and the necessary qualifying requirements are listed on the notice board outside the Memorial Hall and are also available from the clerk Rhian Worrell on 07539 699440 or email llansteffanandllanybri@gmail.com. You need to contact Roger Davies on 241308 to book it and he only asks that you clearly display what charity will benefit. Foreshore Walk and Talk The newly formed Foreshore Community Group led by Dai Stacey will be taking another foreshore walk and talk looking specifically at orchids and other summer flowers. An invitation is extended to all and we will meet in the main car park at 7pm today.
