Hall opening times Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm. Live entertainment in Victoria Park and the Tea and Cake Tent with Karl Taylor, Mick Skevington on Saturday and the Voices Choir from Llanelli on Sunday. Open Studios include Tirbach Alpacas, Dragon Press Bindery, Ceramics by Adrian Munday, dinahvagina [artist], Incus Iron, West Wales Willows and Karen Williams Ceramics. Craft at Keepers Saturday, August 20, special kite making day – make and fly, bring a picnic and fly the kites on the mountain in the late afternoon. Kiosks Llanfihangel Rhos y Corn Community Council has bought the red telephone kiosks in Brechfa, Nantyffin and Llidiad Nenog. They will be repaired and repainted. If anyone has any ideas about their future use, please contact the clerk on admin@llanfihangelrhosycorn.co.uk – see website https://llanfihangelrhosycorn.co.uk/.
Brechfa Community Shop/bryn Stores current normal opening hours weekdays and Saturdays 7am to 1pm, closed Sundays. Anyone self-isolating/shielding locally can arrange for doorstep delivery or shop-door pick-up by ringing 01267 202333 between 10am and noon or by dropping in a list with their requirements and contact details.
Church in Wales services For St Teilo in Brechfa, services are at 11am on every Sunday. At St Michael’s, Llanfihangel Rhos y Corn, the normal pattern of services is now the first and the third Sundays of the month at 2.30pm. The monthly Pilgrim Service continues at Llanfihangel at 6pm on the second Wednesday of the month so the next one is on August 10 at 6pm. The next monthly
