Summer activities for children Various activities for children will be available in the village this August. In Parc Y Mynydd Mawr (Tumble Park), Impact 42 offers games and picnic sessions on August 9, 16 and 20. Actif and Menter CGE will host activities there on August 4,11 and 18. In Tumble Hall, Sian (Turn’d up fitness) will hold dance sessions for children aged 5 to 11 on Friday mornings from 10am to 11.15am. Contact llannonccclerk@outlook.com for more information. Cylch Llechyfedach Playgroup Cylch Meithrin Llechyfedach is available for children aged 2 to 4 every Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm. The Parent and baby/ti a Fi group is every Wednesday from 1.15pm to 2.45pm. Both are held in the building in the Graig Park from the Singleton Road entrance. 07779209374.

Summer of Fun! Early Years Team will be holding fun sessions in various places in Cwm Gwendraeth during the summer: Pontiets, Y Tymbl, Penygroes and Pontyberem. There will be arts and crafts, ‘messy play’, physical activities, song sessions etc. Booking for each child is essential. Community Council Llannon Community Council serves the villages of Tumble, Cross Hands, Llannon, and Cwm-mawr, in order to promote community development and facilities and improve the quality of life of residents. Council meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of the month; these are still being held via the internet (Zoom) for the time being.
