Welcome return for town carnival

-

THE closing highlight of Aberaeron’s summer, the town carnival is back.

Aberaeron Carnival attracts people from far and wide and is one of the oldest carnivals held in Wales. It takes place on bank holiday Monday, August 29.

Chris Strange, chairman of Aberaeron Town Improvements Committee, which organises the carnival, said: “We encourage everyone to support the event and welcome anyone wishing to enter a float or to dress up in fancy dress.”

Each year two distinctive colours are chosen as the carnival colours and this year the colours are purple and yellow.
