Carmarthen Town AFC has handed over £400 to mental health charity Mind after it was its chosen cause last season.

For more than 60 years Mind, which as a branch in Carmarthen, has worked to improve the lives of all people with experience of mental health problems and through their campaigns have touched millions of lives.

In addition to promoting the work of Mind through the club’s match programmes, website and social media, Carmarthen Town had raised £400 for the charity via a bucket collection, supporter donations and a cake sale.

Tracey said: “We are really pleased to receive this welcome financial donation from Carmarthen Town AFC and have really valued their support over the last 12 months.” An announceme­nt on the club’s chosen charity for the 2022/23 season will be made shortly.
