Cered Mynydd Mawr Walks Your community council has started a series of walks to help residents use our public footpaths more. The walks will be arranged to suit as many people as possible. While some people may want to get to know these paths, others will already be familiar with them but might like company on a prearranged route. The first was last month and the group went from Parc Ty Isha, up the ‘Roman Road’, along Heol Llety, across to Fferm Tyn Ton, down to the cycle track and back to Ty Isha. Information about the next walk will be on the community council website and Facebook page. Mobile library The county mobile library is available in the car park opposite Tumble Hall on Tuesdays from 1.45pm to 4pm. You can request any item available in any of the public libraries in Carmarthenshire for free. Ask the mobile library staff or go to the online catalogue. For those who may not be able to visit the mobile or other library, the book swap shelves will be available in the old library in the hall again soon. You may bring a book and swap it for another or just borrow a book and bring it back.
