Prince bags first victory

THERE was some excellent action as the Beulah Show provided the backdrop for a Wales and Border Harness Racing meeting.

The first race was the first division of the Baby Novice where Shane Eggerton on board Ithon Prince came home in front of Blackberry and Easy Connection.

In the second Baby Novice race, Fold Showman, driven by Oliver Jones, claimed another victory in front of the patientlydriven Ithon Papa, while Fold Take Flight hung on gallantly to be third.

The Novice race saw the improving Immortal Storm, driven by Steve Lloyd, lead from start to finish. Lanehouse Girl was a few lengths away in second and Victoria Penlan took third.

The Grade B race was next with Ayr Major leading the field across the line, despite the efforts of Kentucky Roam who finished second with Half Penny back in third place.
