Top honour for employment law business
A LAMPETER employment law consultancy business has been selected as one of the UK’S 100 most inspiring small firms.
The Small Business Saturday UK campaign (#smallbiz100) has highlighted the work of JG HR Solutions Ltd, based in Parc y Rhos, outside Lampeter.
The firm supports small businesses with professional HR (human resources) and employment law support to ensure they are compliant and employees are treated fairly and engaged with.
JG HR Solutions Ltd was founded in 2015 and is based in a tool shed.
It is a multi-award-winning business, adding Consultancy of the Year 2022 in the British HR Awards to the other accolades it has won.
It was founded by Julie Grabham in 2015 and she said: “From being a teenage mum to running a successful multi-award HR business, being recognised in the #smallbiz100 campaign as an inspiring company in the UK, is a fantastic accolade and reward for my hard work.
“Running a business in rural Wales and in a tool shed isn’t without its challenges, but I have fantastic local and national clients who are as passionate about having excellent HR as I am. I really am thrilled to see JG HR Solutions making a difference and being recognised.”
Now in its 10th year, Small Business Saturday will return on December 3, with a mission to support and celebrate the UK’S 5.5 million small businesses, particularly as they face mounting economic challenges over the winter.
JG HR Solutions Limited is thrilled to be involved in this fantastic campaign to support small businesses throughout the UK.
Michelle Ovens, CBE, director of Small Business Saturday UK, said: “It’s fantastic to celebrate small firms just like JG HR Solutions Limited as part of our 10-year anniversary of the campaign. Over the past decade we have been able to spotlight dynamic businesses from across the nation who remind us of the incredible tenacity and determination of small firms in this country.”
