Battling Ammanford suffer home defeat
AMMANFORD suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to Goytre United in JD Cymru South.
It wasn’t Danny Birch’s night as the home defender conceded an own goal and then saw red in the 77th minute after picking up a second yellow.
The visitors hit the front with a Gavin Jones goal and went two up thanks to Birch. Kieran Howard clawed one back to make it 2-1 to
Goytre at the break before Jones struck again in the 72nd minute.
Jordan Langley made it 3-2 in the 88th minute, but 10-man Ammanford couldn’t close find an equaliser.
