Halloween disco Cwmgors Rugby Club are holding a Halloween Party and Disco on Saturday, October 29, starting at 6.30pm, with prizes for best children’s and adults’ fancy dress, a pumpkin carving competitio­n, much more, and lots of fun, come along and enjoy!

Sunday free gigs continue at Cwmgors Rugby Club, and this weekend’s offering on Sunday afternoon will be The Boffs, entry totally free. Foodbank GCG Foodbank is open every Friday from 10.30am to 12.30pm at GCG Community Centre, New Road. Drop in to make your collection, and donations are always welcome. Sad loss Cwmgors Rugby Club were so saddened to hear of the death of one of their former players, Karl Carter, who represente­d the club for some 15 years. Karl was a great player, and one of the few to be presented with a club blazer. All at Cwmgors RFC send our condolence­s to his family and friends; he will be sadly missed. As a mark of respect,senior and youth matches last weekend were postponed.
