MEDAL JOY IN PEMBREY RACE
FOR the fourth year in succession, Welsh Athletics organised the Welsh Road Relay Championships in Carmarthenshire.
Held at Pembrey Country Park, around 500 athletes of all ages attended one of the first events of the autumn season in Wales.
A total of 68 athletes from Carmarthen Harriers and Llanelli Athletics club made the short journey to take part at the National Closed Road Cycling Circuit and surrounding parkland.
There were team victories for both the Carmarthen Harriers primary school boys and under-17 men’s A team.
The under-13 girls were also on the podium, finishing in bronze position.

Pembrey will host the John H Collins Gwent Cross Country League on Saturday, December 3.
Featuring clubs from South Wales and the south west of England, this event also incorporates the 2022 West Wales Cross Country Championships with regional medals up for grabs.
