‘Modest’ home has big ‘wow factor’ inside

A STUNNING property that looks like it could be in central London but is actually in the centre of Carmarthen has come onto the market – and it’s available for less than half a million pounds.

According to Rightmove the average house price in Carmarthen is just over £210,000 while, according to Zoopla, the average purchase price across the wider county of Carmarthen­shire is slightly lower than that at just over £200,000.

While a new property located in The Esplanade in Carmarthen is up for considerab­ly more than that there is nothing remotely average about it.

The pretty street is a brisk walk from the shops in King Street in the town centre and looks out towards the River Towy and provides easy access to the main roads around South West Wales.

The convenient location, however, is by no means the key selling point for this wondrous house. From outside the terraced property looks attractive but relatively modest in its scale with one bay window and a front door giving the impression that space might be at a premium.
