HEUCHERA ‘BERRY SMOOTHIE’

I’ve been putting wild blackberries in my morning fruit smoothies and the resulting colour is a bit like this gorgeous heuchera. Berry red foliage deepens to a rich purple and sprays of small creamy flowers in summer will attract butterflies.

Heucheras, or Coral Bells, like partial shade and are good ground cover plants. The many cultivars provide a rich variety of different coloured foliage from lime green to salmon pink and the darker plummy ones. Plant in fertile well-drained soil.
