Special Q&A evening with Wales and Lions rugby legend
WALES and Lions rugby legend Sam Warburton is coming to Carmarthen for a special Q&A evening.
For the very first time Sam will be coming to the town’s Lyric Theatre on Friday, November 25, and will be joined by special guest compere, former Grand Slam-winning captain Ryan Jones.
An Evening with Sam Warburton promises to be a big night of rugby stories, from his club days, right through to becoming only the second man to lead the Lions on two successive tours and remaining undefeated in a Lions series against Australia and New Zealand.
The evening is being organised by Carmarthen-based promoters TMH Promotions.
In recent months the company has brought the likes of fellow Wales rugby stars Nigel Owens and Shane Williams as well as boxing legend Joe Calzaghe to the town.
Tim Hopkins at TMH Promotions said: “It’s always that extra special when bringing a show to your hometown, hopefully local business can also benefit from the extra footfall.
“Having the opportunity of bringing Sam to Carmarthen was an opportunity not to be turned down.
“It’s an honour to be bringing two former captains together for one big night in Carmarthen.
“Both Sam and Ryan are very excited for the show and cannot wait for November 25.”
